Harrison Christmas Parade and Tree-Lighting

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN WILL BE BUSTLING
Starting at 4 p.m. there will be vendors, food, and family fun including a train display at Harrison Fire Department *In memory of Jim Robertson*
Visitors are invited to enjoy the District DORA.
Local Shopping & Entertainment includes The Little Fern Shop, Ahead of the Curve, The Sweet Escape Room & Sweet Ax Throwing, On the Rocks (OTR), 1860 Tap Room & Bottleshop, Tucos, Craft Vendors, Historical Society of Harrison and more.
Parade Begins at 5 p.m.
The 2023 City of Harrison Annual Christmas Parade will begin at 5 p.m. The parade will be led by Grand Marshal Cam Kugler and will begin at the Harrison Community Center (300 George Street). The parade proceeds west on Broadway, north one block to State Street, and then east on Harrison Avenue to Washington. Streets will be closed to traffic for several hours.
POST-PARADE FUN PLANNED
Free activities available after the parade include: Pictures with Santa, Live Nativity, Train Ride for Kids, Gingerbread Scavenger Hunt with prizes, Hot Chocolate and Cookies (while supplies last).
Crafts for kids will be available as a fundraiser for Girl Scouts.
At 6:15 p.m. there will be Storytime with Caitlin in the Electric Alley (located between The Parlor Salon and Village Pharmacy).
At 7 p.m. the City Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place in front of Harrison Fire Station 56 (200 Harrison Avenue).
At 8 p.m. there will be live music at On The Rocks (231 Harrison Avenue).
