As summer heats up in Harrison, Ohio, so do the fun activities. The Harrison Recreation Commission has planned several events for families to enjoy.
Summer Concert Series
Harrison residents and visitors have already enjoyed a few concerts this year. There are still two more opportunities to gather and enjoy live music and other festivities. Ryan Broshear will take the stage July 13 and Final Order will play July 27. The concerts are 7 to 9:30 p.m. on the lawn behind the Harrison Community Center (300 George Street). Food, drinks and adult beverages will be available for purchase. The Summer Concert Series is made possible through a contribution by FCN Bank.
Fourth of July Celebration
The City's Fourth of July Celebration will take place the evening of July 4. A parade will kick off the festivities at 4 p.m., followed by fireworks, live music and other entertainment. Food, drinks and adult beverages will be available for purchase. There will be free family activities including a cornhole tournament, face painting and more.
