Businesses large and small are invited to attend a Harrison Workforce Development Committee (HWDC) meeting Monday, Oct. 18, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Harrison High School Activity Center. Employees are difficult to find in today’s world, but strategies are being developed to help local businesses find the staff members they need. Southwest Local School District, Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce, Cincinnati State, City of Harrison, and key local businesses have joined forces to create a committee concentrating on solutions to the workforce crisis.
Local employers are invited to be part of the first general meeting of the Workforce Committee meeting and hear about what is being done, and how you may take advantage of several important programs. JTM will be providing light snacks and a tour of the High School readiness spaces will be given and the conclusion of the event. If you cannot attend, send someone from your company that will be able to participate. Below is an outline of the agenda:
