City Leadership Experience 


  • Jean has served on City Council since 2020. 
  • She serves on the following committees: Economic Development, Streets/Bike Path, Storm Water, Utilities, Chair of Building and Lands
  • She also serves on new committee formed by Mayor Neyer in 2020: the Veterans Liaison Committee.



Occupation


Jean was a licensed real estate agent and broker for 10 years.

She owned and operated an insurance company in Harrison for 25 years.

She has worked for the City in various roles, including serving as recreation coordinator for seven years and the finance department for six years, retiring at the end of 2018.

Jean serves on the Hamilton County Veterans Service Commission and she was just reappointed by Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas to January of 2025.

Community Involvement  

Jean is serving her eighth year on the Harrison Mayor’s Fund and her sixth year as president of the organization.

Jean has been a member of the Yeager- Benson Post 199 for t33 years, serving at all Post leadership positions including Post Commander two years. She has served as Post finance officer for t19 years.

Jean serves the Department of Ohio American Legion as the Department First Vice Commander. 

For more than 20 years, she was the co-chair of the Amber Garrett Needy Children Fund for the American Legion.

Jean has been involved with many different activities in Harrison and in the State of Ohio, especially helping veterans and children.

She served on the Board of Joseph House for 10 years, including two terms as president.

Jean has served on the Board of the Cincinnati Fisher House while it was being built and continues to serve as the Friends of the Fisher House.



 Personal Information  

Jean is married to Jerry Wilson, they have to children Tammie Campton and CSM Jerrold “Woody” Wilson and seven grandchildren and two dogs, Goober and Coco.
